dresses, dresses and more dresses

ALL FUCKIN HISTORICAL DRESSES!

what more could i possibly want other then a dress show of historical costumes from movies, some I've seen. I went to see this exhibition at somerset mall of this collectors dresses that he's bought from movie sets through out the years. Some of the movie featured here are (just naming a few) : Phantom of the Opera, Ever After, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Becoming Jane, Miss Potter, Finding Neverland, The Prestige, Portrait of a Lady, Out of Africa, Evita and Pirates of the Caribbean. excited yet? Well i was. First of i heard from people at CCS (who are doing a project featured on these dresses, not fair!) that they were going to draw some dresses. Never did i hear that they were going to be drawing historical costumes! Its my calling i swear, i want to work on designing historical costumes for movie sets. Here to quench your thirst are a selection of pictures. If you have need to see more let me know.

this is the first dress i saw and i almost cried. One of my favorite movies, plus i use to LOVE this dress, especially the wings ! I learned that each set of wings cost around 6 thousand dollars, they used 2 sets and destroyed one set(for the filming).minnie driver's costume for the Phantom of the Opera. Gorgeous dress!

You should know this one. But in case you don't main character's dress in the Phantom of the Opera.
The far green dress is from Miss Potter, its Renee Zellweger's. The gold, white and black outfits are from Finding Neverland. The coat was Kate Winslet, gold is Radha mitchell and tux is Johnny Depp's.
